1st Aid For Adventure Biking

Would you know what to do in the event of a medical emergency or traumatic incident?

Whether you’re a Sunday rider or a round the world ADV explorer, the ability to administer emergency first aid and trauma care is an essential skill that all of us should be proficient in.

Regardless of response times, the assistance of the emergency services can never replace the benefit to a casualty when Basic Life Support is required after an accident. Having the confidence to step up and take charge can be extremely intimidating and all too often panic and confusion can unfortunately lead to unnecessary loss of life...

OutriderADV specialise in providing medical emergency training, Basic Life Support and pre-hospital trauma management to those preparing to head off to remote locations away from immediate medical help.

Our First Aid trainers are members of one of the busiest Mountain Rescue Teams in the UK and provide pre-hospital emergency care on a weekly basis. The skills we teach on this very practical course are based on our own experiences providing first aid and rescue in remote and mountainous environments.

Whether you require first aid training to endorse a National Governing Body qualification or just want peace of mind that you can deal with a medical emergency in a worst-case event, this is the course for you.

This course is delivered by serving Mountain Rescue Team members that are both First Aid trainers and hold certificates in MR Casualty care and Pre-hospital Trauma Life Support.
